What you need to qualify

• Registered as a charitable organization in one of the countries or regions listed in the Google for Nonprofits eligibility guidelines
• Verified as a nonprofit organization by Goodstack, Google for Nonprofits' validation partner
• Agreement to the Google for Nonprofits Additional Terms of Service
• Not a governmental entity or organization
• Not a hospital or healthcare organization, although charitable arms or foundations associated with healthcare organizations are eligible
• Not a school, academic institution or university, although philanthropic arms of educational organizations are eligible

How to apply

   Review the eligibility requirements

   Confirm your organization is a registered charity in a country where Google for Nonprofits is available, and is not a government entity, a hospital or healthcare organization, or a school, academic institution or university.

   Find your nonprofit registration number or tax ID

   Verification is done by Goodstack, which checks both the organization and your affiliation with it, so have the registration or tax identifier and supporting documentation ready before you start.

   Request a Google for Nonprofits account

   Go to google.com/nonprofits and click Get started. If your organization already has an account, the flow takes you through requesting access to the existing one instead.

   Wait for verification

   Most requests are reviewed in 2 to 14 working days. Goodstack may contact you for more information or documentation before it can verify the organization.

5. 5

   Activate each product separately

   Once verified, activate Google Workspace for Nonprofits, Google Ad Grants, the YouTube Nonprofit Program and Google Maps Platform credits one at a time. Which products are available depends on your country.
