How to apply

  1. 1

    Read the residency application guideline

TTA publishes the eligibility, fees, review process and residency terms on its Application Guideline page (申請進駐須知) at apply2ttas.taiwanarena.tech. This is the page the About TTA page sends founders to when it says "Looking for private office for your growing team? Apply here".

  2. 2

    Prepare the operations plan

An operations or business plan is required in Word or PowerPoint format. TTA provides a downloadable template alongside the guideline.

  3. 3

    Prepare the signed declaration statement

A declaration statement carrying the company seal and the authorised representative's signature is required. This is a wet-signature and company-seal step, so allow time for it.

  4. 4

Enterprise applicants add a financial statement

Enterprise-track applicants must also attach their most recent financial statement. Startup-track applicants do not.

  5. 5

    Submit the online application

Applications are filed at apply2ttas.taiwanarena.tech/apply. There is no fixed closing date: the guideline states reviews are run on a 隨到隨審制 (rolling review) basis.

  6. 6

    Attend the review meeting

A review committee, with invited expert scholars, assesses each application, and more than one half of the members present must approve. Five groups are exempt from the presentation and get a written review only: TTA-coached teams, regulatory sandbox applicants, winners of government or innovation competitions, national award recipients, and listed or Fortune 500 companies.

  7. 7

Sign and move in within 45 days

Approved applicants must complete the contract signing and move in within 45 days of approval, so the space is only held for that window.

On the startup track the company must have been registered for less than 8 years and be willing to commercialize its products or services through demonstration; teams selected or awarded in government entrepreneurship programmes also qualify. Enterprises qualify if they are willing to cooperate with startups to upgrade their own products or services.

No. The application guideline states that applications are handled on a 隨到隨審制 basis, meaning they are reviewed as they arrive, so there is no fixed closing date. Individual TTA open calls are separate and do carry deadlines: TTA's CES 2027 call, for example, closes on 30 August 2026.

Residency is paid. Co-working is NT$2,000 per month for an open seat and NT$2,500 for a private seat, including utilities and management fees. A private office is NT$600 per ping per month in rent plus NT$130 per ping per month in management fees, with water and electricity billed by usage or proportional allocation.

Startups get 2 years, renewable for 1 additional year. Enterprises get 3 years, renewable for up to 3 additional years.

An operations plan in Word or PowerPoint format, a declaration statement with the company seal and the authorised representative signature, and, for enterprise applicants only, the most recent financial statement.

TTA is Taiwan's flagship startup ecosystem programme, launched by the National Science and Technology Council in 2018. It works with more than 100 local and overseas investors and reports that more than 200 of its alumni have been funded through those networks, runs accelerator programmes with international partners, and leads delegations to CES, VivaTech and GITEX. The building offers 24-hour access, 26 conference rooms and 6 event spaces.
