What you need to qualify

  • MIT delta v is MIT's flagship accelerator for student founders building startups.
  • Strong self-conviction and persistence in solving the problem you have chosen.
  • Actively building, with a working prototype or early product.
  • Full-time commitment for the length of the programme.
  • Able to go to market by the end of the programme.
  • A strong founding team with complementary skills. Driven solo founders are also considered.
  • Early customer or partner interest, including willingness to pay.

How to apply

    Apply inside the annual window

    Applications open on Sunday March 1 and close on Wednesday April 1 at 5:00pm Eastern. Outside that window the form is not accepting submissions.

    Submit the application form

    The application is at entrepreneurship.mit.edu/accelerator/apply. Questions go to deltavstaff@mit.edu.

    Interview if you reach the finalist round

    Interviews with finalist teams are held on Monday April 27.

    Wait for the decision

    Acceptance decision status is announced in the first week of May.

    Commit to the full summer cohort

    The programme runs from Monday June 1 to Demo Day at MIT Kresge Auditorium on Friday September 11, about 14 weeks full time.
