What you need to qualify
- Startups demonstrating traction, ideally between Pre-Seed and Post-Series A stage, with headquarters in Europe or Israel
- Revenue generating, with at least five employees
- Building a scalable product or service with a significant total addressable market and a defensible growth model
- Deeply technical, preferably leveraging technologies like machine learning and AI
- Building solutions in one of three areas: grid modernisation and enhancement, demand flexibility and optimisation, or energy affordability and cost saving for households and industries
- Commitment from the CTO and other technical roles to participate in the required program sessions
- Founder and team available for all program elements, including a mandatory Demo Day

Google accepts energy efficiency solutions that reduce household or industry costs, grid modernisation using AI and grid enhancing technologies, and demand flexibility work such as virtual power plants and load aggregation.

Applications for the 2026 cohort opened on May 4, 2026 and closed on June 12, 2026. The application is made from the Europe and Israel program page while the window is open.

The CTO or equivalent technical leadership must be available for the required sessions, and participation in Demo Day at the end of the program is mandatory.
