What you need to qualify
- Open to Georgia Tech students, faculty, researchers and alumni who want to launch a project from idea stage or beyond
- Only one co-founder has to be a Georgia Tech student, faculty member or alumnus; the rest of the team does not
- A co-founder is encouraged but not required, so solo founders may apply
- Participants commit to the full 12-week summer program and effectively work on the startup full time

Confirm the Georgia Tech affiliation
CREATE-X requires only one co-founder to be a Georgia Tech student, faculty member or alumnus, so a mixed team qualifies as long as one founder has the affiliation.

Submit the Startup Launch application
The application is an Airtable form linked from the Startup Launch page, currently labelled Startup Launch 2027.

Plan for the 12-week summer commitment
Startup Launch runs 12 weeks starting the week following classes: Week 1 is kickoff, Weeks 2 to 12 have Tuesday sessions, Week 7 is Preview Day, and the program closes with Demo Day.
