How to apply
- 1
Sign up on the Get Started page
Complete the short general information form (name, contact details, province, city and language preference) at futurpreneur.ca/en/explore/get-started-canada to be connected with a dedicated Futurpreneur team member.
- 2
Write a complete business plan
Futurpreneur requires a finished business plan before it will take a full application. Its Rock My Business tools and workshops exist to produce one, and are open before you apply.
- 3
Build a 24 month cash flow
A complete 24 month cash flow projection is required alongside the business plan. This is the piece most applicants do not have ready.
- 4
Submit the full application in MyFP
The full application goes through Futurpreneur's own portal, MyFP, at route.futurpreneur.ca, which needs an account. The website form in step one does not submit an application by itself.
- 5
Wait for the review
Futurpreneur states it contacts applicants within 5 to 10 business days of a portal submission, and notes it is processing a high volume of applications.
- 6
Get matched with a mentor
Approved applicants are hand-matched with a mentor for up to two years, which is part of the offer rather than an optional extra.
