How to apply

  1. 1

Work out which of the three programmes fits your stage

CcHUB runs pre-incubation (6 months, for an idea leveraging web or mobile technology), incubation (12 months, for a startup already generating revenue) and acceleration (12 weeks, for refining an existing product and getting investment ready).

  2. 2

Wait for a named open call

The startups page publishes no standing accelerator application form. CcHUB opens specific named cohorts and fellowships and announces them on cchub.africa, so the practical step is to watch that site rather than to submit at any time.

  3. 3

Contact the team to ask which intake is open

CcHUB publishes info@cchub.africa on its contact page, along with offices in Lagos, Kigali, Nairobi, Namibia and Togo. Incubation additionally requires being based in CcHUB's Lagos incubation space.

Frequently asked

12 weeks. It is described as fast-paced and execution driven, with a priority on founders applying what they learn to their startup in real time.

One-on-one sessions with internal experts, coaching sessions with leading industry experts, free credits from partner products, access to mentors, and access to partners and networks.

It depends on the programme. Pre-incubation carries a 5,000 USD investment and incubation offers up to 25,000 USD during the programme plus direct access to follow-on funding of up to 250,000 USD from Growth Capital. The startups page publishes no cash figure and no equity term for the 12 week accelerator.

Pre-incubation asks for an innovative idea leveraging web or mobile technology, an adequately researched problem with a clear target segment, the skills to build the solution, full-time commitment for 6 months and a team of one to three people. Incubation asks for a revenue model and actual revenue, a functional technology-enabled product, existing users, at least 6 months of operations, a management team of up to 3 including a technical lead, and potential to scale. The page states no separate eligibility list for the accelerator.

There is no permanently open accelerator form. CcHUB announces cohorts and fellowships on cchub.africa, and general enquiries go to info@cchub.africa.
