How to apply
- 1
Reach out to the NZ Product Accelerator team
The page states: In the first instance, please reach out to the NZPA team for an initial chat. There is no application form and no intake round.
- 2
Have the initial conversation
The NZPA network is funded by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment to have these initial conversations with industry and to identify opportunities for further support, so this stage costs you nothing.
- 3
Get matched with research partners
If the team sees potential, it match-makes you with one or more of its research partners depending on what type of support is needed. The network spans the University of Auckland, AUT, University of Waikato, Victoria University of Wellington, University of Canterbury, University of Otago, GNS Science and MAF Digital Lab.
- 4
Agree the fee-for-service project
Subsequent project work generally requires the customer paying an agreed fee-for-service, so scope and price the research work before it starts.
