- Equity:
- Equity-free
What you need to qualify
- Amazon Launchpad requires startups and emerging brands to have a market ready, consumer facing, physical product available to ship now or within 30 days.
- Amazon primarily considers startups and emerging brands funded or supported by its collaborators, crowdfunding platforms, venture capital firms and startup accelerators.
- If your startup or brand is unfunded or supported by a company outside those collaborators, the application is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- Applications are welcomed from all entrepreneurs and emerging brand owners with a unique product to sell on Amazon.in.
- This is a selling programme rather than a funded accelerator: there is no cash investment and no equity is taken.

How to apply
- 1

- 2
Have a shippable product ready
Eligibility requires a market ready, consumer facing, physical product available to ship now or within 30 days, so this step precedes the form rather than following it.
- 3
Complete the Launchpad application form
The form asks for applicant details (name, email and phone), company information (legal name, website and brand name), the product category, your trademark status, your investor backing, your social media handles and how you heard about the programme. Existing sellers apply at amazon.in/launchpad/signup/form.
- 4
Wait for the review
Amazon states: Complete our program application form and we will get back to you within two weeks.
- 5
Enrol and accept the fee
Enrolled brands pay a programme participation fee on top of the standard Amazon referral fee, either a 5 percent or a 2 percent premium charged on gross shipped Gross Merchandise Sales.
