A six-month accelerator built specifically for enterprise and B2B startups, providing a small seed investment, structured go-to-market support, and a strong network of enterprise customers and investors.

Why this could be a strong fit

Excellent for technical, enterprise-focused founders who need go-to-market help and enterprise/investor intros rather than large upfront cash.

What you need to qualify

  • The flagship programme is built for founders in enterprise and deep technology, specifically AI-SaaS and deeptech companies that monetize from enterprises.
  • Whether a company counts as enterprise is decided by where the revenue comes from, not by the shape of the offering, so B2B2C businesses qualify.
  • Teams of two to three co-founders are preferred. Solo founders are accepted but are held to a higher standard.
  • Companies from pre-revenue through early traction are in scope.
  • Companies from anywhere in the world are accepted and incorporation structures are flexible.

How to apply

  1. 1

Confirm you are applying to the right Alchemist programme

Alchemist runs several distinct programmes: the San Francisco flagship, Alchemist Chicago with the University of Chicago, Alchemist Doha for Qatar and the MENA region, Alchemist Japan, and the Silkroad Silicon Valley residency. The flagship is the Silicon Valley programme.

  2. 2

    Submit the application form

The Apply Now button on alchemistaccelerator.com/apply opens the application portal. Deadlines are rolling, so an application can be submitted on any day.

  3. 3

    Take the 15-minute virtual interview

Shortlisted teams are invited to a 15-minute virtual interview with Alchemist judges.

  4. 4

Receive the offer and agree terms

An offer follows if the judges approve. Most companies grant 5.00 percent of common equity, terms are flexible, and Alchemist may also ask for the right to a minority co-investment in your follow-on rounds. Tuition is charged and offset against the capital provided, leaving average proceeds of about $30,000.

  5. 5

Run the six-month class and present at Demo Day

Each class runs six months and ends at Demo Day, where founders present to an invitation-only audience of global investors. Demo Day is virtual, with an in-person sneak peek event in San Francisco one month beforehand.
