What you need to qualify
- Teams of 2 or more people.
- One founder has a "Cambridge connection" (student, alumni, faculty, staff of the University or resident of the town).
- During term time team members must be Cambridge based.
- Entrepreneurial drive: the eligibility list asks applicants to "have fire in your belly".
- The programme is aimed at early-stage founders with a clearly defined problem, and at deep tech, biotech, medtech, research-based and spin-out ventures that need commercial maturity alongside technical progress.
- Applicants must be ready to engage fully with coaching, test ideas in the real world and attend sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for the full 12 weeks.

Check the Cambridge connection and team size
You need at least two people and one founder who is a University of Cambridge student, alumnus, member of faculty or staff, or a resident of the town. Team members must be Cambridge based during term time.

Complete the online application form
The form is at jbs.cam.ac.uk/entrepreneurship/forms/accelerate-apply/, linked from the Apply page. Submit it before the cohort closing date.

Record a 60-second pitch video
Upload it as an unlisted YouTube video or a password protected Vimeo video. Put your name in the video title.

Email the video link to the programme team
Send the link to accelerate@jbs.cam.ac.uk. This is a separate step from the form and the application is not complete without it.
